Growing as writers

This week the students worked on name flip books.  The book has a flip up page for each letter of a student's name. Under each flap, the student illustrated and labeled an object with the same initial letter sound as that letter in his/her name.  Below are a few wonderful examples of their work.  I am so excited to start working with these young writers and help them develop the imaginative ideas they already have!
